BIO
Sofia Varino is a New York based performance artist working with dance and video. She is a member of the Harmattan Theater Company and collaborates with artistic director May Joseph on the ongoing digital installation Chronocorpus, a multimedia archive of oceanic histories in real time.

She is currently working on a doctorate in Cultural Studies with a concentration in philosophy and the arts at Stony Brook State University of New York. Research interests include body theory and science studies.
